Drs. Arvi and Adelina Duka are a husband and wife dental team who bring their knowledge, experience, and commitment to exceeding expectations to your every appointment. Keeping reading below to get to know a little about them before you meet them in person.
Dr. Arvi Duka
Dr. Arvi began his formal dental education in his native Albania, where he graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” Bucharest. Later, he relocated to the United States and attended the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM). He graduated with honors from the school’s Advanced Standing Program. Now, in addition to serving as a dentist near Ashland, Dr. Arvi is also a member of the faculty at BUGSDM, where he is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Emergency and Oral Diagnosis Department. He has been published in a number of scientific journals and is a member of several prestigious organizations.
When Dr. Arvi is not working, he loves to travel, play soccer, and, of course, spend time with his delightful wife and their two children.
Dr. Adelina Duka
Like her husband, Dr. Adelina earned her DMD degree from BUGSDM and her DDS from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” Bucharest. She loves to be actively involved in the professional community. She has served as Research Instructor in Medicine in Boston University’s Research Department. Additionally, she has co-authored numerous scientific articles in well-known medical journals. She enjoys presenting her work at scientific symposiums and conferences. She belongs to numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Adelina has a compassionate personality, and that comes through in the way she cares for her patients, her family, and her community. Over the years, she and Dr. Arvi have participated in several volunteer projects, including Special Olympics Special Smiles, the Alpha Omega Henry Schein Cares Holocaust Survivors Oral Health Program, and many more.
